Puget Sound is in the 3.0-3.9 area. Average 3.5 hours of sun per day for solar pv electricity generation.

Germany is the world leader in solar electricity production. There has been a lot of skepticism about the Puget Sound area's solar energy availability because of our cloudy weather. As you can see on this world map provided by SunWize Energy Solar Solutions, on the worst months of the year Puget Sound has 2.0 to 2.9 hours of sunshine per day and Germany only has 1.0 to 1.9. Puget Sound gets a yearly average of 3.54 hours of sunshine per day and it's free to all of us for the taking.
